Deepens expertise across finance, talent, and technology disciplines

ATLANTA, January 3, 2024 – Assurant, Inc. (NYSE: AIZ), a leading global business services company that supports, protects, and connects major consumer purchases, today announced three new members of the company’s Management Committee to deepen representation and expertise in the key areas of finance, talent, and technology. Effective January 1, 2024, the Management Committee includes:

Rebekah Biondo, Deputy CFO: Biondo has held numerous leadership roles within finance over her 23-year tenure at Assurant. Most recently, she led the integration of the business finance teams to drive financial outperformance. In her newly created role, she also oversees investor relations, aligning financial performance with the company’s key financial metrics. Biondo reports to Keith Meier, Chief Financial Officer;
Subhashish Sengupta, Chief People Officer: Sengupta has been instrumental in executing the company’s global talent strategy, unlocking the potential of its people to deliver business performance and growth. As Chief People Officer, he leads the company’s global human resources function and reports to Francesca Luthi, Chief Operating Officer; and
Joe Surber, Chief Technology Officer: Surber has led the company’s technology organization since 2018, driving its global technology transformation and redefining the technology strategy as a key competitive differentiator. Surber reports to Keith Meier, Chief Financial Officer.
