Michael P. Campbell

Mike Campbell is executive vice president, chief operating officer (COO) of Assurant and a member of the management committee. In this role, Mr. Campbell brings together Technology, Operations, and Assurant’s Global Capability Centers to deliver exceptional customer experiences and unlock the full potential of global enterprise operations across Global Housing, Global Auto and Global Connected Living.

Previously, Mr. Campbell served as executive vice president and president of Global Housing, where he led the transformation of Assurant’s Housing business, expanding its market-leading position, adding marquee clients and driving growth across lender-placed, renters, and specialty solutions products and services.

After joining Assurant in 2006 through the acquisition of Safeco’s FIS subsidiary, Mr. Campbell held several leadership roles, including chief operating officer for Assurant’s specialty property lines and president of the company’s lender-placed insurance business. At Safeco, Mike held executive positions of increasing responsibility.

Mr. Campbell holds a bachelor of science in financial management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
