Flood is a risk for which every home and property owner should be prepared. The number of natural and man-made flood claims with no mandatory coverage are grown, as has the number of cases of water damage from accidents. As an agent, you have a duty to encourage your clients to consider flood insurance to protect themselves from costs that can get out of control quickly.
